About Me

Hi, I’m Jen, a storyteller, mountain wanderer, deep feeler, and fan of laughing at life when it gets weird. I created Small Things, Big Life as a space to explore the real, raw, and ridiculous parts of everyday living.

This podcast isn’t just about parenting or relationships (though you’ll hear plenty of those stories too). It’s about the big stuff that shows up in small ways, like rediscovering your voice, taking care of your body and mind, making space for joy, and figuring things out as you go.

Each episode is a real conversation, sometimes heartfelt, sometimes hilarious, always honest. Whether we’re talking about hormone burnout, messy mornings, personal wins, or just surviving another Monday, my goal is to help you feel seen, grounded, and a little less alone.

When I’m not behind the mic, you’ll probably find me outdoors hiking mountain trails, paddle boarding, fishing with my family, or roasting marshmallows around a campfire. I’m a proud mom of two incredible kids, dog mom to two lovable chaos-makers, and someone who unwinds best with a book in hand, curled up on the couch, soaking in the view form our picture window overlooking the valley.

This space is for you if you:

  • Need a laugh and a deep breath in the same five minutes.

  • Want to take better care of yourself without losing yourself.

  • Believe small things do add up to big life.

I’m always interested in cross-storytelling and would love to be a guest on other podcasts to share honest conversations about wellness, motherhood, creativity, and everyday growth.

Join me each week, and let’s make space for the moments that matter.
