What’s On My Wellness Shelf
If you’ve landed here, you’re probably curious about what I’m actually using in my own health journey: the good, the bad, and the “why did I ever try that?” I get it! After years of struggling through hormonal chaos, Type 2 diabetes, and the aftermath of some wild health curveballs (HELLO, Episode 4!), I know how overwhelming the supplement aisle can be.
Who Is This For?
This is for anyone who’s:
On a journey with their health, hormones, or energy levels
Wondering what’s actually worth trying
Looking for ideas and honest feedback (not medical advice!)
Curious about what’s working for a real, not-perfect, mid-mountain mom
What Will You Find Here?

My must-have products for wellness, fitness, or just surviving another day
How Should You Use This Page?
Take what works, leave what doesn’t, and always talk to your doctor before starting anything new. My body is not your body, and what helps me might not help you. But sometimes, seeing what’s possible helps you figure out your own next step.
Some of these links are affiliate links. If you buy through them, I might earn a small commission (at no extra cost to you), which helps support my podcast and this website. Thank you for being here!
Reminder: This page is for informational and inspirational purposes only. None of this is medical advice, just what’s working for me, one day at a time. Always check with your healthcare provider before starting anything new!
Supplements
TrueAdapt
For adrenal support and stress.
This has really helped me manage anxiety and sleep better. If I go a week without it, I start to feel “off”, more anxious and restless.
DIM Detox
Supports hormone balance.
Honestly, I don’t notice a huge difference day-to-day, but I keep using it because of its research-backed support for liver health, especially important after learning about the long-term impacts of HELLP Syndrome on kidneys and liver.
Antioxidant Complex
Reduces inflammation and helps fight off free radicals.
This one helps me bounce back from viruses and colds faster, and I like knowing it’s working behind the scenes to protect my cells from damage.
Vitamin D3
For immune support and mood.
Vitamin D is a must for healthy bones, muscles, and nerves, and it’s a big boost for the immune system. Since we don’t get tons of sun here, I notice I feel better and have fewer “blah” days when I keep up with it.
Multivitamin
Covers the basics.
I use this to get overall coverage, so if my diet isn’t perfect (whose is?), I know I’m still getting the essentials.
Creatine
For strength, muscle recovery, and energy.
Since adding creatine, I’m less sore after workouts, feel stronger, and my muscles last longer. More muscle means more fat burned, too win-win.
Calcium Alpha-Ketoglutarate (AKG)
Supports muscle and metabolism (I take this with breakfast).
Ca-AKG helps with burning fat, amino acids, and glucose, plus it’s known for its anti-aging benefits and supporting overall cellular health. I use it to help my energy, metabolism, and (hopefully) keep those aging effects at bay!
Collagen
For joint, skin, and hair health.
I take this daily (always with vitamin C, since that helps absorption). It’s made a difference in how my skin and joints feel.
Probiotic
For gut health.
I take mine at night to help digestion and keep things moving. Gut health is everything! I switch out my brands every three months to make sure I’m getting constant benefits from different brands, and strengths. I also use Cultuerelle, and Physician’s Choice.
Elderberry
For immune support.
I use this more during cold/flu season or when I feel run down.
Magnesium
To help relax and sleep (I take it at night).
Magnesium is a recent addition for me. It helps my muscles relax and eases me into better sleep, though that “magnesium hangover” in the mornings is real, it’s worth it for the calm.
Iron (18mg)
For energy, healthy blood, and to prevent anemia.
I take this daily because my iron levels tend to run low, especially as a woman. It helps with fatigue, keeps my energy up, and supports healthy red blood cells. If you’re feeling extra tired or run down, low iron can be a culprit and always worth getting your levels checked!
Serenol
For women’s hormone balance.
This has made PMS/PMDD so much easier to handle and less moodiness, less stress.
Stelo CGM
Continuous glucose monitor.
Using this has been a game-changer for understanding my blood sugar. I can catch spikes before they happen and have fewer “glucose roller coasters.” I pair this with the Glucose Goddess Method I talk about on my podcast.
Prescription Medications
I’m open about my journey with prescribed medications—these are tailored for me and make a real difference. (See your provider for what’s right for you.)
